Minnesota’s slopes offer affordable adventure close to home for Midwestern skiers and snowboarders. In the northeast, there’s a trio of destination downhill resorts featuring some of the biggest hills in the Midwest, complete with exciting terrain parks, lodging and entertainment.
Visitors to the Twin Cities area will find an array of excellent downhill areas. Elsewhere around the state are hills where novices can get their start on the slopes and experts can challenge themselves on steep, advanced runs. Many have terrain parks with lots of features for snowboarders and some have tubing hills, where the youngest in the family can get in on the downhill fun.
The Explore Minnesota Slopes Ski & Snowboard Expo is made possible by their partners: Explore Minnesota, Columbia Sportswear, Nilan Johnson Lewis Law Firm and PistenBully. For more information on Minnesota slopes, visit exploreminnesota.com/slopes
