From draft strategies, insider player news and nuggets, exploiting the default rankings on different fantasy sites, conversations and quotes from coaches and executives around the league, and much more Schefter and Berry are opening their playbooks and going in-depth beyond what they say on TV or Twitter. Fans will not only get exclusive insight and knowledge, but will also have an opportunity to have their questions answered by these two experts in an extensive Q&A session, participate in a mock draft and get trash talk videos for their league during a picture and autograph session. Rounded out with must-see pictures, videos and stories of Fantasy loser punishments inspired by Berry's NY Times best-selling book "Fantasy Life," this is an evening that will be fun, informative and a crucial key to winning this year for both seasoned veterans and Fantasy rookies.
“Somewhere along the way, looking forward to the Fantasy Football season became as exciting as looking forward to the regular season,” states Schefter, “So Matthew and I wanted to share our love of the regular season, and the Fantasy season with fans across the country.”
Berry adds, "I get the same two questions every August, all the time. ‘Who should I draft?' and ‘What has Schefty heard?’ So for the first time, I'm thrilled to be able to answer both questions at the same time. In this day of information overload, getting that extra edge, that piece of insight and news no one else has becomes harder and harder. So I'm excited to be able to help fans get just that and personally prep them for the most important day of the year: Draft Day."
Schefter joined ESPN as an NFL Insider in August 2009 and appears on a variety of programs, including NFL Insiders, NFL Insiders: Sunday Edition, NFL Live, Sunday NFL Countdown, Monday Night Countdown, SportsCenter and more throughout the year. He also contributes regularly to other platforms, such as ESPN.com and ESPN Radio, and is part of the company’s annual NFL Draft and Super Bowl week coverage. Schefter has covered the NFL since 1990 and is regarded as one of the top reporters in the industry, especially when it comes to breaking news. His influence also extends to Twitter where he has almost five million followers. Sports Illustrated’s NFL site, The MMQB, named him the 2014 Media Person of the Year for breaking multiple significant stories during the NFL’s free-agent period and off-season.
Universally regarded as one of the leading voices on fantasy football, Berry has been ESPN's Senior Fantasy Sports Analyst since 2006. An Emmy Award-winner for his work on ESPN2’s live Sunday morning show, “Fantasy Football Now” (the highest rated non-live-event show on ESPN2), Berry is one of the most popular podcasters and columnists on ESPN. He appears regularly on ESPN television and radio shows including Monday Night Countdown, Sunday NFL Countdown, SportsCenter, NFL Live and more. Named as one of Sports Illustrated's "Top 100 to follow on Twitter," Berry has more than 1.1 million highly engaged social media fans. His first book, “Fantasy Life” was released in July 2013 and immediately became a New York Times Best Seller.
