We’re ending the final weekend of Holidazzle with a bang! Don’t miss our fireworks display on Sunday, December 20 at 6:30 pm. Our Opening Night fireworks were a great way to kick off our four weeks of Holidazzle, and our display on the final evening will help us celebrate another great year!
Stop By Our Holidazzle Pop-Up Shops
Each weekend there are new pop-up shops at Holidazzle, and you won’t want to miss out on the groups that are joining the mix this week! This week’s shops include Hagen & Oats showcasing their Minnesota spirit with exceptional hand-crafted items that will help you display your state pride. And while you’re at it, get your Minnesota apparel at Sota Clothing. Then, for that special dog in your life, get gourmet treats at Barkley’s Bistro. All three will be on site Thursday through Sunday.
Grab Your Holiday Bread On Sunday Night
Fire & Flour will be hosting its final Holidazzle bread drop on Sunday night from 5-7 pm. Stop by the Warming House courtesy of CenterPoint Energy during that time and grab your bread of choice while supplies last! Fire & Flour has an assortment of bread types on hand, including a special Holidazzle loaf. But hurry—these loaves of bread are in high demand and will go quickly!
Meet Santa Claus All Weekend
Santa Claus will be here all weekend, including 5-9 pm on Thursday and Friday and 11 am-9 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Stop by to meet him, get a photo at our Santa station, and give him your wish list for the holidays!
Hop On A Holidazzle Carriage Ride
Take a carriage ride this Thursday in Loring Park! Stop by and enjoy a free ride that are open to all ages compliments of the Loring Park Neighborhood and provided by Citizens for a Loring Park Community, Friends of Loring Park and Loring Park Community Center. Thursday’s rides will be available from 6:30-8:30 pm. It’s a scenic view of Loring Park and our city—great for date night or for the whole family!
Once you’re done with your carriage ride, warm up in the Holidazzle Warming House courtesy of CenterPoint Energy and browse the Minnstameets Holidazzle gallery featuring Minneapolis-centric art by 75 local photographers selected through Instagram. Their prints are odes to the beauty of our city. Enjoy the views!
Frozen Is This Week’s Holiday Movie Classic
One of the best feelings of the holiday season is enjoying a treasured holiday movie with your friends and family. At Holidazzle, you’re able to enjoy that feeling while you’re enjoying the festivities in Loring Park. Join us this Sunday at 5 p.m. for our Holidazzle Movie Night supported by North Memorial, the immensely popular movie Frozen. While you’re enjoying the movie, stay warm by roasting your own s’mores at our Holidazzle bonfire! S’mores and fire roasting sticks are available on site. It’s a great way to enjoy a winter evening at Holidazzle!

Holidazzle’s food scene was a big hit during the first weekend, and there is something for everyone right on site. Stop by and try out the sensational potato pancakes at Burbach’s, the fall-off-the-bone ribs from Walt’s Wings & BBQ, the delicious Pierogis by Polish Bistro and the Kimchi Fries from K-Town Street Foods. Test out the delicious, made-from-scratch mini pancakes (poffertjes) and top them off with secret sauces, powdered sugar and whipped cream. Try out the specialty mini donuts, and enjoy a Scandinavian favorite from Mrs. Olson’s Lefse. Stay warm with soup from Black Forest Inn, and dive into the sweet and savory spaetzle options at Spatzi by Venus. The Cinnamon Roasted Nuts by Cindy’s are a delectable treat you can smell from afar, and the Minnesota Harvest Apple Treats are sensational breakfasts or desserts either on site or at home. There are several great opportunities to shop local here at Holidazzle. Commemorate your 2015 experience with the exclusive Holidazzle Love Your Melon hat. Take a moment to browse through Minnesota Awesome’s t-shirt collection—a collection of images ranging from “MN Nice” and “Babe the Blue Ox” to “Duck, Duck, Gray Duck” and “Kirby Puckett” that all Minnesotans will enjoy. A Minnesota staple for 150 years, browse and shop the blankets, scarves and accessories from Faribault Woolen Mill Co. The Stroopwafels are a Dutch delicacy that, when placed atop your morning coffee, makes a caramel-melted, waffle sandwich for your enjoyment. Best Ways To Arrive
There are several ways to arrive at Holidazzle, including parking at several $5 or less flat rate locations around Loring Park (Minneapolis Community & Technical College, Parade Park, Walker Art Center and IDS Center Parking Garage), taking Metro Transit bus routes (4, 6, 12, 17 & 18 all directly service Loring Park) or light rail lines (blue and green toward Target Field Station, then connect with 4, 6, 12, 17 or 18 bus routes at Warehouse District stop), a pick-up and drop-off location (Yale Place/Willow Street). Follow the Walking Paths
All arrival options lead to three Holidazzle Walking Paths supported by North Memorial Clinics. Follow these paths to Holidazzle when you enter Loring Park at Grant Street/Willow Street, Maple Street/Harmon Place or Hennepin Avenue & Lyndale Avenue/Oak Grove Street.
Visit Holidazzle on Saturday and ride Metro Transit for FREE. Metro Transit is offering free rides from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. both to and from Holidazzle on Saturdays with a printed Metro Transit free ride voucher. Each rider must have a printed voucher with them to receive free ride. Simply visit Holidazzle.com’s home page and follow the Metro Transit link to print off your voucher.
Coverage Tips
Holidazzle is located at Loring Park with three main entrances located at Harmon Place/Maple Street South, Hennepin Avenue/Oak Grove Street and Grant Street/Willow Street. Closest parking locations to Holidazzle are metered or non-metered parking spots located on Willow Street, Spruce Place, 14th Street and 15th Street that provide easy access to Holidazzle Walking Paths supported by North Memorial at the intersection of Grant Street and Willow Street. There are also metered parking spots available on Maple Street and Harmon Place, which can be used but encouraged more for morning or non-peak hours.
