Death to Prom premieres at Theatres at Mall of America®
WHAT: Theatres at Mall of America® will host a Pink Carpet Premiere for the award winning local film, Death to Prom on Thursday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m.
A light-hearted romantic comedy, Death to Prom tells the story of high school dreamers preparing for the timeless youth centerpiece that is prom. The films co-director, Matt Stenerson describes the film as a John Hughes-style romantic comedy.
All talent for the film, including writers, directors, actors and soundtrack, were sourced locally in Minnesota. Local fashion designer and Project Runway competitor, Christopher Straub, designed the unique prom dresses featured in the film.
The Pink Carpet Premiere will include an autograph signing and Q&A session with the cast, a pink carpet photo opportunity and the public theatrical premiere of Death to Prom.
Theatres at Mall of America is an independently owned theater, with the freedom to support local films. Death to Prom will show exclusively at Theatres at Mall of America through Thursday, March 13, 2014. Click here for a list of show times.
