Anchorman 2 star set to score laughs on-screen and on-stage in 2014;

September 18, 2013 - David Koechner is in theaters, on television, online, in your dreams and soon-to-be on-stage at Mill City Nights as part of a nine city comedy tour. The veteran actor, improviser and comic best known for his role as Champ Kind in Anchorman and Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is bringing his unique style of stand-up to Minneapolis on Saturday, February 15. The comedy tour is titled David Koechner: Together Again because Koechner brings to his shows not just jokes and storytelling, but a whole lineup of unique characters that hes developed over the years. Personalities include Gerald T-Bones Tibbons, a rangy carny who can match wits with senators or hobos; Roy, an obese gay man just looking for love; and Jokey, a highly impulsive jokester who thinks hes the funniest guy at the office or a funeral. While comedy lovers nationwide can see Koechner on the big screen this winter in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, only a select few thousand primarily in frigid climates that need laugher for warmth - have the chance to catch him live. In addition to Minneapolis, David Koechner: Together Again will visit Boston, Philadelphia, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Milwaukee, New York and Washington D.C.

About David Koechner
Actor, writer and producer David Koechner, an alumnus of Chicagos Second City Theater, got his first break as a cast member on Saturday Night Live and since has become an instantly recognizable face appearing in more than 120 films and television shows. He is best known for his roles as Todd Packer on The Office and Champ Kind from Anchorman and Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Koechner is receiving rave reviews for his role in the dark, twisted and film festival award-winning thriller Cheap Thrills. He also recently produced and starred in a pilot for A+E Networks called Whitey. Additional notable film credits include Waiting, Out Cold, Talladega Nights, Get Smart, Extract, Thank You for Smoking and A Haunted House.
