Off-Leash Area make Cowles Center Debut with Zany and Heartwarming Reprisal of Psst!
Minneapolis, Minn. May 14 , 2013 The Cowles Center for Dance & the Performing Arts is pleased to welcome Ivey Award winners Off-Leash Area as they reprise their popular Psst! June 2123 in The Goodale Theater. Inspired by the dead-pan characters of celebrated Norwegian graphic novelist JASON, Psst! is a show that
combines the zany rag-time of Betty Boop-era animation, with the sensational expressionism of the classic silent film Metropolis. The entire story is told in mask
and dance, with only a single spoken word: Psst! With a cast of 13 dancers, a fulllength original score, and an ingeniously interactive set that brings the 2-D world of the graphic novel to 3-D life, the Ivey and Sage Award Winning Off-Leash Area pulls out all the creative stops to tell a universal and poignant story about love and loss. Tickets are $1421 and can be purchased at www.thecowlescenter.org or by calling
612.206.3600.
