PRIOR LAKE April 15, 2014 ­ Kathy Griffin will bring her hilarious celebrity-skewering act to the Mystic Showroom at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 13.

Griffin began her comedy career as a member of the famed Los Angeles Groundlings troupe. She began landing guest roles in television series including Seinfeld and ER, and starred in the sitcom Suddenly Susan. Griffins popular reality show, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, won two Emmys for Outstanding Reality Program. She was the first female comedian to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard comedy chart with the release of the Grammy-nominated album For Your Consideration. Griffin has since released five more Grammy-nominated albums, finally winning Best Comedy Album earlier this year for Kathy Griffin: Calm Down Gurrl.

Guinness World Records honored her in 2013 for the most televised stand-up specials by any comedian (male or female, living or deceased).
