CITY WORKS MINNEAPOLIS OPENS ON MARCH 9, 2016
(MINNEAPOLIS; March 9, 2016)— Today, Wednesday, March 9, City Works opens the doors at 600 Hennepin Ave. in the Mayo Clinic Square. The vibrant new restaurant, helmed by Minnesota locals Executive Chef Eric Reichel and GM Tom Schoenberger, focuses on a sprawling craft beer list of over 90 local, regional, and global craft brews, complemented by upscale American cuisine.
Over a quarter of the immense draft selection at City Works is sourced from breweries around the Twin Cities, including Surly Brewing Co., Summit Brewing, Northgate Brewing, Fulton Brewing, Bent Paddle Brewing, and Sociable Cider Werks, among others. Beers are offered in full sized portions, as well as 6 oz. tasting portions to provide guests the opportunity to taste and enjoy the wide selection. Pre-selected flights are on the menu, and a build-your-own flight option is available as well.
The dining menu offers guests a wide selection of options for a business lunch, a dinner date, or game watching snacks, including Duck Confit Nachos, Wild Mushroom Flatbread, and the namesake City Works Burger. Entrees include a chipotle maple-glazed Pork Chop, a braised Short Rib with shrimp grits and short rib au jus gravy, and a Scottish Salmon with braised fennel, oven dried tomatoes and crème fraiche fingerling potatoes. With a focus on fresh food and brilliant flavors, 98% of the menu is made from scratch.
The 10,000 square foot restaurant and bar features state-of-the-art A/V capabilities, 16 flat screen TVs, four of those being massive quad screens, and semi-private event offerings for groups and parties, making it ideal for game-day viewing.
