PRIOR LAKE, MN OCTOBER 7, 2014 ­ Fans of Celtic music wont want to miss a special holiday performance when the Christmas with the Celts tour comes to the Mystic Showroom at 8 p.m. Saturday, December 20.

A combination of Irish- and Scottish-born musicians and Irish-Americans, The Celts have been performing worldwide for nearly 20 years. Based in Nashville, the band performs a combination of fiery Scottish/Irish traditional instrumental tunes and vocal songs as well as their own hybrid originals with earthy, organic Celtic instrumentation. Their live performances are known for an entertaining mix of brilliant musicianship, Irish dance, storytelling and humor.

The Celts gained legions of fans in the United States after the holiday special Christmas with the Celts began airing annually on public television. They have recorded eight albums including the popular Christmas with the Celts, a studio recording based on the television special and concert DVD of the same name.
