Doodlebugs
Tuesday, November 26, from 9:30-11:30 a.m., or 1-3 p.m., at Silverwood Park, St. Anthony. Drop off your kids for a whirlwind of fun. Each weeks activities are based on a different childrens book with a nature-inspired art theme. We will spend part of every class exploring what autumn brings to our life-filled wetlands, woods and prairies; then get messy as we cut, paste, paint or sculpt! Dress for the weather and bring a light snack, water bottle, and a bag to keep all your projects together. Cost is $10 and reservations are required. Monday, November 25, from 9:30-11:30 a.m., at Gale Woods Farm, Minnetrista. Drop off your child for fun and learning on the farm! Each day well explore a new farm theme through stories, songs and more. Theyll help farmers with chores and make a farm-fresh snack of their own. My Preschooler & Me: Puppet Escapades Time to Sleep
Monday, November 25, from 10-11 a.m., at Lowry Nature Center, in Carver Park Reserve, Victoria. Explore themed activity stations with your child, then watch a silly puppet show based on the book Time to Sleep by Denise Fleming. After the show, go for a self-led outdoor hike, or enjoy your own picnic lunch. Cost is $4 and reservations are required. Preschool Drop-off: Kits & Cubs: Winters Coming Hibernators
Tuesday, November 26, from 9:30-11:30 a.m., or 1-3 p.m., at Richardson Nature Center, in Hyland Lake Park Reserve, Bloomington. Drop off your kids and investigate fall changes in Hyland Lake Park Reserve. We will end the day by making a craft and having a snack brought from home. Reservations are required. The morning session will be taught in English with an introduction to the Spanish language. The afternoon session is English only. Cost is $10 and reservations are required.
