My Preschooler & Me: Nature Discoveries: Groundhog Day
Sunday, February 2, from 2:30-4 p.m., at Eastman Nature Center, in Elm Creek Park Reserve, Dayton. Explore nature with your preschooler as you both participate in hands-on discoveries. Listen to a Groundhog Day story, make a craft, and sing songs. Explore and play with shadows, and go on a groundhog scavenger hunt in the woods. Cost is $5 and reservations are required. Preschool Drop-Off: Doodlebugs AM
Tuesday, February 4, from 9:30-11:30 a.m., at Silverwood Park, St. Anthony. Drop off your kids for a whirlwind art activity. Each week is based on a different childrens book and nature-inspired theme. Part of every class will explore the parks winter wonders. Starting Thursday, February 6, from 10-11 a.m., or 5:306:30 p.m. at Silverwood Park, St. Anthony. Bring your sprouts to this four-week class and explore the natural world and arts together. Each class includes time indoors and out, hands-on activities, story time, and more. Cost is $30 and reservations are required by the Wednesday prior to the program.
