MAY 10 MOTHERS DAY BRUNCH AT VINCENT A RESTAURANT IN MINNEAPOLIS FEATURES MILK-BRAISED PORK TENDERLOIN, BAKED COD BORDELAISE, CHEESE FONDUE RAVIOLI
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., April 24, 2015 -- Honoring mothers across Minnesota in warm, contemporary French style, Chef Vincent Francoual has announced his May 10 four-course Mothers Day Brunch menu, which includes:
- First course with your choice of Cucumber Salad with couscous and smoked salmon, or chilled cauilfower soup with stilton cheese or Melon & Prosciutto with strawberries.
- Second course with your choice of Omelette filled with grape tomatoes, herbs and chevre cheese, or Eggs Benedict with crispy jambon royale, grilled asparagus and hollandaise, or Brioche French Toast with chocolate and caramelized banana topped with whipped cream.
- Third course is your selection of Baked Cod Bordelaise with purple potatoes, garlic butter and almond cream, or Milk-Braised Pork Tenderloin with kumquats and broccoli, or Cheese Fondue Ravioli with baby kale and carrot-apple broth.
- Dessert course offering your choice of white chocolate semifreddo with blackberry compote, or Devils Food Cake with cherries and port wine reduction, or Strawberry Rhubarb Shortcake with madeleine cookies and chocolate truffles.
A special Mothers Day Brunch Menu for Children will offer Homemade Pasta with marinara sauce, Cheese Omelette or Chloes Favorite (to be determined by the whim of Chef Vincents daughter Chloe). Each child will also enjoy Vincents Favorite Childhood Dessert, consisting of vanilla ice cream with warm chocolate sauce and madeleine cookies. The Mothers Day Brunch is open on May 10 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Prix Fixe for the Mothers Day Brunch at Vincents will be $35/person. Children can enjoy the Mothers Day Kids Menu for $12/person, with children 5 and under served free.
