Carly Aplin Hired as Timberwolves Entertainment Network Host
Minneapolis/St.Paul The Minnesota Timberwolves have hired Carly Aplin as the new host of the Timberwolves Entertainment Network (T.E.N.) on Timberwolves.com. Aplins T.E.N. debut will be on the Wolves Draft Live Show 2014, which airs on Thursday, June 26 at 6:30 p.m. on Timberwolves.com.
For the fifth consecutive year, the Wolves will produce an interactive online draft show. The show features draft coverage and analysis, fan reactions and Q&A, interviews with media guests and more.
As host of T.E.N., Aplin will promote the networks exclusive Wolves video and audio content. T.E.N. keeps Wolves fans informed and connected with the team and organization by offering seven original channels that include everything from player interviews to entertaining features, behind-the-scenes footage and more. Aplin is a journalist covering sports and entertainment, in addition to being a television producer, writer and host. In 2012, she joined the International Series of Champions (Snocross) as a pit reporter and announcer for CBS Sports. Most recently, she signed on as host of FOX Sports Norths SledHead 24/7 and Softball 360. Aplin can be seen on CW 23 covering entertainment news and events from Minnesota to Los Angeles. Aplin has also been featured as a guest host on several local radio stations including KFAN, KDWB and 93X.
Aplin graduated cum laude from Gustavus Adolphus College with a B.A. in communications and a minor in political science. She volunteers as an ambassador for the American Heart Associations Go Red for Women movement. She is the founder and current director of MNfashions Red Dress Collection, a runway show where Twin Cities designers dress local celebrity women in custom red dresses to raise funds and awareness for womens heart health.
