Burger Jones debuts daily new tap beer menus
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Burnsville BURGER JONES debuts new tap beer menu and re-Crafts it every day.
Minneapolis, Minn, Tuesday, June 18, 2013. At Burger Jones in Burnsville, the burgers are art, and the 39 taps? Theyre mostly craft.
39 beers on tap at the bar, 39 beers on tap. Draw one down, pass it around
You know the rest. But unless youve visited BURGER JONES in Burnsville lately, you have no idea what veteran bartender and superstar craftologist Christian Caswell has on tap. And even then, youd get just a snapshot, because his offerings change daily.
Our resident Beer Geeks wouldnt have it any other way, he says. They want fresh choices on every visit.
Ask for the daily beer menu or have Caswell steer you to his current favorites.
The selections vary almost by the moment, but we always feature a range of IPAs from, say, Surly Furious to softer varieties like Founders Centennial IPA, Caswell explains. Current Ales include Lucette Shining Dawn, Kona Big Wave and Odwell St. Lupulin. If youre into something dark, I love the Deschutes Black Butte Porter or Minnesotas 3rd Street Lost Trout Brown. And of course we have plenty of Wheats and Blonds, Ambers, light beers and cider.
If 39 varieties arent enough, ask for a custom blend.
Caswell matches the craft of brewing with the art of blending. If youre a jaded, been-there-drank-that Beer Geek, blends can really open things up, he says. From a Minnesota Black & Tan of Summit Oatmeal Stout mixed with a great IPA to Buffalo Sweat and ice cream, the combinations are endless and the taste profiles unlimited.
Just ask, and the exploration begins
Still cant decide? Get a Flight.
The Brewers Association, representing more than 1,700 brewery members across America, recently rated Minnesota #2 nationally in terms of craft beer production growth, with an increase of 81% between 2011 and 2012 according to newly released data.
Thats a lot of ground to cover, admits Caswell. So if you want to maximize the experience without drinking yourself under the table, ask me for a flight. Its a great way to sample a range of selections within categories, or to gauge the differences between hoppier and less hoppy beers, stronger and lighter offerings, or more established varieties vs. the upstarts.
39 taps and untold hundreds of Beer Geeks
Serious connoisseurs have one no-brainer option at BURGER JONES in Burnsville: Joining the Beer Geeks.
Just sign up the next time youre here, and youll be on the inside track to take advantage of all our beer offerings, says Caswell. Members sample our varieties. We give away lots of stuff and host events. If youre a beer lover, its beer heaven.
