Bonnie Raitt started anew with the release of her nineteenth album, Slipstream. The album marked her return to studio recording after seven years and the launch of her label, Redwing Records. A huge success, Slipstream sold over a quarter-million copies in 2012, making it one of the top selling independent albums, and earned Raitt her 10th GRAMMY Award (Best Americana Album). From the New York Times to People Magazine, 'Slipstream' was also lauded in numerous top critics lists for album of the year. Her new album delivers some of the most surprising and rewarding music of Bonnie Raitts remarkable career, thanks in part to some experimental sessions with celebrated producer Joe Henry.

On their second collaboration, legendary singer Mavis Staples and Wilco leader Jeff Tweedy have crafted a gospel album for the 21st century, a music that strives for faith in a world where nothing can be taken for granted. On One True Vine, Mavis Staples gives voice to something new in her repertoire, something deeper and more resonant with our times; longtime fans will notice a new reserve in her singing, a muted, plaintive quality that serves the darker, more nuanced songs collected here perfectly.
