Bird Dog Parade kicks off Pheasant Fest in Minneapolis
Feb. 14, 2017 (Minneapolis) --- The annual Bird Dog Parade will once again kick-off National Pheasant Fest & Quail Classic 2017 at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Friday, February 17 at 11 a.m. This year’s show runs Feb. 17-19 and will feature the largest Bird Dog Parade to date, featuring more than 40 breeds and 100 bird dogs. The Bird Dog parade is free and open to the public.
The 2017 Bird Dog Parade will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, showcasing setters, pointers, retrievers and more for the grand opening of the nation’s largest upland event. The parade prides itself on showcasing the diversity that exists among sporting dog breeds.
Meet the dogs at Minneapolis Visitor Information!
On Thursday, Feb. 16, the public is encouraged to visit Minneapolis Visitor Information on Nicollet and 5th for a short preview of the show and to meet with three pups being featured in this year’s parade. From 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., stop by to ask questions, see the dogs, and pick up a free pair of tickets for the show, while supplies last.
Stop by to meet Diego, a 3-year-old Brittany;
Charlie, a Braque D’Auvergne (French pointer);
and Diesel, a 2-year-old Golden Retriever.
