BIRD BANDING
LOWRY NATURE CENTER
Close encounters with wild birds! Join us on Saturday, January 18, from 9 a.m. noon, at Lowry Nature Center, in Carver Park Reserve, Victoria, and see wild songbirds up close as they are safely trapped, studied and tagged with numbered rings. Learn how to identify birds in the hand. You may even get a chance to hear a birds heartbeat and help release the bird. Drop in anytime.
This program is free and open to all ages.
