BEAT BACK THE BUCKTHORN
SILVERWOOD PARK
Help us Beat Back the Buckthorn at Silverwood Park! This invasive species produces a dense shade that prevents the establishment of native trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants. With no natural controls to limit its growth, buckthorn is a threat to the future of native natural habitats. Volunteers are needed to help keep this species at bay! Great for everybody 8 years and older.
Well be beating back the buckthorn on Saturday, November 2, from 9 a.m.-noon. Groups are asked to call 763-694-7724 to register.
