FEATURING ART AUCTION AND PERFORMANCE BY THE NEW STANDARDS
The Walker Art Center announces the return of Avant Garden to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden on September 13, 2014. This years benefit sets in motion the Walkers 75th anniversary of being a multidisciplinary art center with a Diamond Jubilee. Avant Garden will celebrate this milestone with an unforgettable evening with gourmet fare, cocktails, and silent art auction. The New Standards will play during the Gold Key portion and DJ Sye Young will get the dance floor rolling at the start of the Silver Key. Proceeds from Avant Garden support the Walkers award-winning artistic and educational programming.
