Spring 2015 St. Paul Art Crawl
Venue to Feature Live Music Performances by Award-Winning Dan Israel and Others
ST. PAUL, Minn. (April 16, 2015) - St. Pauls historic Union Depot will feature the work of 46 Minnesota artists in the upcoming St. Paul Art Crawl. The event will be held Friday, April 24 from 6:00-10:00 p.m.; Saturday, April 25 from 12:00-8:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 26 from 12:00-5:00 p.m. The artists work will be displayed in the Waiting Room and will include a variety of mediums including paintings, jewelry, textiles, glass and much more. Five live music performances will take place in the Waiting Room throughout the event, including a performance by Minnesota Music Awards winner Dan Israel on April 25 from 3:30-5:00 p.m. The Art Crawl and music performances are free and open to the public.
Artists:
Some of the artists displaying work at Union Depot include painter Chris Shockley, illustrator Pamela Kirton, and glass artist Laura Paycer.
Chris Shockley: The Forest Lake artist focuses on painting and portraiture, creating layered, textural works featuring colorfully sewn characters to make lighthearted statements of emotions.
Pamela Kirton: Pamela is known for her elegant illustrations of whimsical birds, reflecting her love of drama, color and nature, and her work with international fashion magazines and childrens books.
Laura Paycer: Laura is a Nisswa-based glass artist, known for her vibrant stained glass, fused glass and mosaic art.
