American Heart Association: Go Red for Women
Health Fair at Mall of America®
WHAT: Nearly 460,000 women die each year of heart disease, yet 80 percent of cardiac events can be prevented with education and lifestyle changes. The American Heart Association invites women and their families to come out for a day of free activities at Mall of America® in recognition of American Heart Month. Guests can learn about the risks of heart disease and how to take action to live a healthier life.
In support of American Heart Association, on February 6 and 7 Mall of America is wearing red by yarn bombing the iconic Mall sign on 24th Avenue and Lindau Lane.
See a fashion show featuring a collection of student designs, audition to be the next Go Red spokesperson, participate in free CPR training, get a free blood pressure check and get moving with a free Zumba class.
