5th Annual Walk to End Hydrocephalus finds a new home at Mall of America®
WHAT: More than 1 million Americans are living with hydrocephalus, a condition where fluid builds up in the brain. For the first time, the 5th annual Walk to End Hydrocephalus will take place at Mall of America® on Sunday, Sept. 7.
There is no cure for hydrocephalus and the treatment requires brain surgery. Those living with hydrocephalus endure anywhere between eight and 100 repeated brain surgeries over a lifetime.
Activities and entertainment will be provided along the Walk route, celebrating those who are impacted by this disease.
