Minneapolis, Minnesota—June 4, 2019 -- The 2019 Stone Arch Bridge Festival is pleased to announce 25 live performances scheduled on two stages - June 14 through June 16 along the Minneapolis riverfront. A Friday, June 14 Kick-Off Concert in Father Hennepin Park features Twin Cities favorites All Tomorrow’s Petty and Sam Cassidy. A variety of family-friendly live music and entertainment can be enjoyed during daytime festival hours on Saturday and Sunday. Music in Father Hennepin Park continues into the evening with the After Hours Concert until 10pm on Saturday - featuring locals The Short Fuses, Tacky Annie, and The Violet Nines. The festival and all performances are free and open to the public.
The Stone Arch Bridge Festival is held annually over Father’s Day weekend on the Minneapolis Riverfront. It is the third largest festival in Minneapolis, drawing thousands of visitors to the beautiful banks of the Mississippi River. The festival is known for unique artwork from 200+ artists, live music on multiple stages, and family friendly activities and classic car show.
NEW in 2019, the Vintage and Vinyl Market will take over Water Power Park. Vendors will fill a massive tent with curated treasures including clothing, décor and vinyl records. A DJ, food vendors and games from Can Can Wonderland will create a festive atmosphere. Friday night there will be a ticketed “Sneak Peek” event from 6 pm - 8 pm. Admission will include a free beer ticket to be redeemed at the Kick-Off Concert in Fr. Hennepin Park. A link to purchase tickets is on the festival website.
