Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal: At least 15 hotels will open in the Twin Cities this year. Here’s what and where.
By Taryn Phaneuf
While Minneapolis, St. Paul and Bloomington are magnets for hotel development in the region – and have their share of new hotels coming in the new year – convention and tourism eyes are on Eagan in 2020.
The largest addition to the Twin Cities market over the next 12 months will be the 320-room Omni Vikings Lakes Hotel. The Nordic-inspired property next to the Minnesota Vikings TCO Performance Center should open late in the year. It’s being developed by MV Eagan Ventures, which is owned by the Wilf family that also owns the Vikings.
