Inforum: Henning basketball state tournament win named Minnesota sports moment of the year

The team's story of overcoming tragedy was enough for judges for the Minnesota Sports Awards to name the team's story of triumph as "Sports Moment of the Year." The high school team was up against college and professional sports teams in the awards ceremony that was televised by Fox Sports North.
"It just puts it all in perspective and continues to keep that memory alive, but more importantly keeps Jacob's memory alive too," said the team's coach, Randy Misegades. "It was a great way to cap it off."
