Forbes: Beyond Hotel Stays: Why Marriott Bonvoy Is Making Experiences Take Center Stage
By: Rana Good
In January Marriott International announced the name of their new loyalty program, Marriott Bonvoy, which combined Marriott Rewards, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards and Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) into one. While hotel stays booked with points were, of course, part of the new program, Marriott Bonvoy also emphasized the many moments it had to offer ranging from sports events to private dinners with famous chefs to VIP passes at music events. This year alone, Bonvoy Members have some 120,000 Moments to choose from in cities and destinations around the world.
