By Kevin Wierzbicki
You may be too old to go trick-or-treating but that doesn’t mean that you have to go without sweet treats on Halloween. There’s a whole bag full of Halloween fun for adults on tap in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area this year, including some great concerts, costume parties and haunted happenings. Here are some events we think you’ll really like.
Weds. Oct. 31 @ 7 p.m.
Fine Line Music Café – 318 N. 1st Ave. – Minneapolis
Be among the first to see Kiiara’s latest show; this Minneapolis stop will be only the second on her fall tour with Moroccan singer ABIR. Kiiara’s big hit “Messy” was just remixed by electronic music wizard Sweater Beats and her video for “Be Somebody” is newly released as well.
Weds. Oct. 31 @ 8 p.m.
Turf Club – 1601 University Ave. W. – St. Paul
All the cool ghouls and groovy goblins in the Twin Cities will likely be at this Halloween show by the Los Angeles-based funk and soul band. Fronted by lead vocalist Adryon de León, the big band will be showcasing music from their brand new album Reasons.
Weds. Oct. 31 @ 8 p.m.
The Armory – 500 6th St. S. – Minneapolis
Known for wearing trippy glasses, REZZ will fit right in with the Halloween crowd when she brings her show to the recently remodeled Armory in downtown Minneapolis. The Canadian DJ will keep revelers dancing and maybe, in a nod to the scary holiday, she’ll don her scissor hands.

The event will be hosted by radio personality Giselle Ugarte.
Sat. Oct. 27 @ 7 p.m.
Valleyfair – 1 Valleyfair Dr. – Shakopee
The Valleyfair amusement park turns into “Valleyscare” for this frightful event featuring four “scare zones” including the creepy clown-infested Carnevil: Ringmaster’s Revenge. There’ll also be haunted indoor and outdoor mazes with names like Zombie High: In the Dark and Berserkers Unleashed, and stage shows such as Blood Drums, Sinister Circus and The Awakening will add to the spooky fun.
