Summer is here, which means our event calendar is jam packed. Between art festivals, professional sporting events, and Broadway theater, there's no shortage of things to do. Here are our picks for the top things to do this June!
1. Women's Sports Double Header
June 6
Number one city for women's sports? Let's prove it once and for all. We teamed up with the Minnesota Lynx and the Minnesota Aurora to make it easy: one bundle, two games, shuttle transportation included. On June 6, we’re turning a summer Saturday into a full-day women’s sports celebration across the Twin Cities.
- 12pm Lynx vs. Storm at Target Center
- 4pm Aurora Pride Match at TCO Stadium
- Postgame nightcap at A Bar of Their Own
2. The Great Gatsby
June 2-7
Dive into the dazzling spectacle of the Broadway smash hit musical, The Great Gatsby, where F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic American novel and the glamour of the Roaring Twenties come to life on stage at the Orpheum Theatre!
3. 10th Anniversary Celebration of Life - Prince Celebration
June 3-7
The party of the year is calling! Prince Celebration 2026 takes place across Paisley Park and downtown Minneapolis. Leading this year’s public programming is the Friday night Prince Celebration 10th Year Anniversary Concert at The Armory, featuring a historic first-time onstage reunion of members of Prince’s legendary bands, The Revolution and The New Power Generation. The concert lineup includes performances and appearances from Morris Day, Miguel, Tevin Campbell, Bilal, Kat Graham, Sounds of Blackness and more.
4. Edina Art Fair
June 5-7
Discover 250+ local, regional, and national artists at the unforgettable Edina Art Fair. Plus, enjoy live music, beverage gardens, kids zone, and a culinary marketplace.
5. SoundWave
June 6
Free and open to all ages, SoundWave transforms Broken Clock’s parking lot into a full-day community celebration featuring live local music, craft beer, food, and vendors in the heart of Northeast Minneapolis!
6. Minnesota United Soccer Celebration
June 11-27
It’s the summer of soccer in North America, with the FIFA World Cup 2026™ taking the global soccer sphere to our shores starting in June. Minnesota United Soccer Celebration is an epic fan experience in downtown Minneapolis spanning Peavey Plaza and Nicollet Mall, right next to Brit’s Pub between S 11th and S 12th Street! They'll have matches on the big screen, guest appearances, delicious food and beverage, a live DJ, and a whole lot more.

7. Northeast Vintage Block Party
June 13
Step into a treasure hunter’s paradise as the Northeast Vintage Block Party returns on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 11am to 6pm. Dozens of vintage sellers will fill the large lot behind the historic buildings that house shops Moth Oddities, Olio Vintage, The Golden Pearl Vintage, and Twelve Vultures – informally known as the "Northeast Vintage Block".
8. Midtown Arts & Music Festival
June 13-14
The Midtown Arts & Music Festival is a two day celebration of local creativity, culture and community. Experience live music, visual art, dance and interactive experiences alongside incredible global food & shopping, all under one roof!
9. Pryes Block Party
June 19 & 20
Pryes Block Party returns June 19 & 20, 2026 for two days of live music, cold beer, and summer fun at Pryes! The taproom and patio will be open to the public all weekend, but a ticket gets you into the heart of the party: the concert at the Pryes Side Lot. This year, Soul Asylum and Gear Daddies are headliners!
10. David Cross at Acme Comedy Co
June 19-20
Head to Acme Comedy Co for an amazing night of comedy as prolific comedian David Cross works out his new hour of stand up! David has appeared in countless film and television roles including HBO’s iconic Mr. Show, playing the role of Tobias Fünke in Fox’s Arrested Development, and more.
11. Midsommar Celebration
June 20
Celebrate the longest day of the year, Swedish style! American Swedish Insititue's Midsommar Celebration welcomes everyone to observe one of Sweden’s favorite holidays by heading outside to enjoy live music, dancing around the majstång (maypole), and many family-friendly activities.
12. Stone Arch Bridge Festival
June 20 & 21
The Stone Arch Bridge Festival features art and live music on the Minneapolis riverfront! The focus of the festival is the art market, where more than 200 artists and culinary artists participate. You’ll also find live music with two music stages, featuring 28 performances and plenty of local food trucks and vendors to keep you going!
13. Special Olympics USA Games
June 20-26
The 2026 Special Olympics USA Games are a monumental celebration of ability and inclusion set against the backdrop of the beautiful Twin Cities. The Games are scheduled to take place from June 20-26, 2026, at the prestigious University of Minnesota, the official host venue. In addition to the university, the event will unfold across other premier locations, including the National Sports Center in Blaine.
14. 14th Annual Pride Beer Dabbler
June 26
Minnesota's favorite beer festival celebrating our love for our Twin Cities queer community, our love of great craft beer, and our love of being just Minnesotans! The Pride Beer Dabbler features an evening of unlimited samples of delicious craft beer and cider from over 70 local and regional breweries, plus access to 12 of Minnesota's favorite food trucks.
15. Twin Cities Pride Festival
June 27 & 28
The Twin Cities Pride Festival is Minnesota’s second largest festival and the largest FREE Pride festival in the country. The festival highlights the best in LGBTQIA2S+ entertainment on four stages and features over 650 vendors, including LGBTQIA2S+ & BIPOC community resources, artists, and businesses.
16. Time Travelers Vintage Expo
June 27
Time Travelers Vintage Expo is the most diverse traveling vintage market in the United States, currently visiting 17 cities from coast to coast. Attendees can expect to find a vintage wonderland with the absolute best in vintage clothing, home goods, retro-inspired handmade, and more!
17. Tiny Desk Contest on the Road
June 30
National Public Radio’s Tiny Desk Contest is back on the road in 2026! Join them this summer as they travel to 10 cities for a one-of-a-kind concert, featuring the Contest winner plus two up-and-coming artists from each city.
18. Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women
Now - June 31
Lauren M. Gunderson's fresh adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's beloved classic Little Women follows the four March sisters - Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy - as they navigate love, loss, and new beginnings while their father is away during the Civil War. Running through June 21, 2026 at the Guthrie Theater, this coming-of-age drama celebrates the timeless and trying journey from girlhood to adulthood.

Nothing screams summer more than baseball season. Catch a Twins game at Target Field, and take advantage of gameday promotions, like a Ludacris postgame concert on June 26! Need even more convincing? Tuesday is Dollar Dog Night and pregame beers will only cost you $2 on Friday and Saturday games.
