The Zero K Run is a hilariously fun, non-running event happening Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 1–4 p.m. at Forgotten Star Brewing Co. in Fridley, MN. Designed for those who want all the excitement of race day without the sweat, this event offers participants race packets, running bibs, finisher medals, and 0.0 stickers — all without actually running. When the starter horn sounds at 3 p.m., “runners” simply stand up and sit right back down, celebrating the spirit of doing nothing.
The event features live music from The Sidekicks, food trucks, beverages, a silent auction, and family-friendly entertainment. Most importantly, it raises funds for the CMT Research Foundation, supporting research to treat and cure Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a hereditary neurological disorder affecting over 3 million people worldwide.
Registration is $35 for adults and $20 for youth 12 and under; kids under 12 attending without a race packet are free with adult registration. Space is limited to 150 participants, so sign up early at zerokrun.com and join the fun for a great cause!

The exhibition “Painted Poetry: Art of the Rajput Courts” explores paintings that emerged from several Rajput courts during the 16th to 19th centuries. Early paintings from Mewar and Malwa that use bold colors and angular forms. Later work from Bikaner, Bundi, Jaipur, Kishangarh, Kota, Marwar, and Sirohi that visualize emotional themes. Lyrical compositions from Bilaspur, Chamba, and Kangra that depict expansive landscapes and exquisite detail. Poetic texts describing Indian aesthetics, musical modes, mythology, and devotional Hinduism shaped the evocative themes and subject matter of these images. They invite us to revel in the arts of music, dance, poetry, and painting that shaped the lives of Rajput rulers.
