Minnesota United Soccer Celebration

Calling all Loons fans, international soccer fans, and anyone who’s ever even seen a soccer ball! Minnesota United is bringing an epic fan experience to downtown Minneapolis' Peavey Plaza and Nicollet Mall - right next to Brit’s Pub between S 11th and S 12th Street! Watch matches on the big screen and enjoy guest appearances, delicious food and drinks, a live DJ, and a whole lot more.

Note: Soccer Celebration is free, but you do need to claim tickets through SeatGeek for each date you plan to attend.

World Cup on Lake Street

The Lake Street Council is thrilled to invite you to a laid-back celebration of great soccer and the incredible local businesses that make Lake Street the place to be! Head to El Nuevo Campo for a big-ole screen, a beer tent and plenty of cheering! Soak up everything Lake Street has to offer by grabbing takeout from one of the neighborhood's amazing local restaurants and setting up a blanket or chairs wherever you like.

La Doña Cervecería

Make La Doña your home for the tournament! They're playing the games on their indoor TVs, especially focusing on Latin and North American teams. Not only can you watch soccer matches here, but you can also play a quick round yourself. Out on the patio a boxed turf field perfect for letting off some steam after a big win/loss by your favorite team. Either way, don't miss out on their cervezas. The brews are a collection inspired by both Latin American and Minnesota culture.

American Swedish Institute

Cheer on Team Sweden at ASI! Join us to watch two special World Cup matches in great company. During our Midsommar Celebration on June 20, Sweden goes head-to-head with the Netherlands. Come back to watch Sweden take on Japan just a few days later. Heja Sverige! Included with festival or museum admission.

A popular local spot for watching soccer games, Brit’s is known for their big screen on the rooftop where fans can watch games sitting outside on the lawn. Merlins Rest Pub

Get the total pub experience at Merlins Rest. Here they serve all the favorites: Fish & Chips, Bangers & Mash, and English Toffee Pudding. The majority of matches are shown live on the big screen and another television within the restaurant.

Taberna makes it easy to watch all the excitement while enjoying delicious Mexican food. TV's are set up all around the center bar and also on the sides of the dining room area. Every seat in the restaurant has a view of a TV.
