Minneapolis Architect leads design team for Nelson Cultural Center
Architect Tim Carl of Minneapolis-based HGA led the design team for the Nelson Cultural Center.
Swedish designers, Åke Axelsson and Karin Ahlgren served as consultants to the project. Green elements including bio-roofs and a geothermal heating and cooling system ensure that ASI remains not only beautiful but sustainable Institute for generations of visitors to come.

COST: Free! In honor of our green status, ASI wants visitors to save little green by offering free admission on May 29th from 5-8 p.m.

The American Swedish Institute (ASI) is a vibrant arts and culture organization and historic home located at 2600 Park Avenue near downtown Minneapolis.
