Marin Restaurant Hosts One-Night-Only Wine Dinner with Martinelli Vineyards
MINNEAPOLIS (October 14, 2015)—Marin Restaurant & Bar, located at the Le Meridien Chambers in downtown Minneapolis, is hosting an elegant evening of seasonal American cuisine paired with the wines of Sonoma County’s acclaimed Martinelli Vineyards on Wednesday, October 21, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The dinner will be led by Brandon Middleton, National Sales Manager for Martinelli Vineyards, who will educate guests on the nuances of pairing wine with food and the Russian River Valley winery’s varietals.
The five-course tasting menu created by Marin’s Chef Mike Rakun, spotlights the fresh and healthful cuisine of California using the highest quality Minnesota-sourced ingredients with dishes such as Charred Calamari Salad, Cioppino, and Braised Lamb. Each course is carefully paired with selections from Martinelli’s portfolio including Moonshine Ranch Pinot Noir and Giuseppe & Luisa Zinfandel. Martinelli Winery & Vineyards is a 5th generation family-owned winery that has been growing grapes along the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, California since the 1880’s.
