Minneapolis (May 12, 2016) – The 2016 Kellogg's Tour of Gymnastics Champions, which showcases gymnasts from the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games, will make a stop at Target Center in Minneapolis on Sun. Oct. 9 at 5 p.m. Local gymnasts are expected to join the cast of gymnastics champions. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on June 23.

The headliners will include Simone Biles (three-time world all-around champion), Gabby Douglas (2012 Olympic team and all-around champion), Aly Raisman (2012 Olympic team and floor exercise champion), Nastia Liukin (2008 Olympic all-around champion) and Jordyn Wieber (2012 Olympic team gold medalist). They will join other 2012 and 2016 U.S. Olympic Gymnastics team members will visit 36 cities across the nation with the Tour. Additional names will be announced after the 2016 Olympic Games.

A discount ticket program for Twin Cities area gymnastics clubs will be available beginning on May 13, with club incentives based on ticket sales. Gym clubs can contact Target Center at

A limited number of VIP packages will be available at each Tour stop that include a pre-show Nastia Liukin Chalk Talk, led by Liukin, along with selected members of the 2016 U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Team; seats in the first two rows; and a post-show autograph session. Platinum tickets, also available in each market, include the pre-show Nastia Liukin Chalk Talk with selected members of the 2016 U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Team.
