Downton Abbey Costumes and Collection Exhibit comes to Mall of America
Mall of America® to host DRESSING DOWNTON, EXPERIENCE THE COSTUMES AND COLLECTION OF DOWNTON ABBEY®
Exhibition will showcase the costumes and fashion from the beloved television program Downton Abbey®
Bloomington, Minn. (Oct. 27, 2016) — One of the most widely watched dramas in the world is coming to Minnesota in a limited time exhibition and retail experience showcasing 27 period costumes from Downton Abbey®.
Mall of America is proud to announce that it will host Dressing Downton, Experience the Costumes & Collection November 4, 2016 through January 31, 2017. The exhibition was produced by leading international traveling exhibition producer, Exhibits Development Group, St. Paul, MN that brought MythBusters: The Explosive Exhibition to Mall of America earlier this month and Treasures of Napoléon to St. Paul last Winter to the showboat owned by the University of Minnesota. The exhibition is an ongoing collaboration with NBCUniversal International Television Production and Carnival Films/PBS Masterpiece’s Downton Abbey®. EDG’s sister-exhibition that premiered at the Biltmore Estate to hundreds of thousands of fans in February 2015 is touring historic homes and art museums through 2018 and now Minnesota fans have a chance to see a slightly smaller version in a very fun and accessible setting.
Guests will have close and personal access to the costumes worn by award winning actors from the series from upstairs including Maggie Smith, Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery and Elizabeth McGovern and those from downstairs while experiencing an array of retail products and holiday products designed and developed for the adoring fans of Downton Abbey.
