Space Fest: Sensory Friendly Afternoon
Explore the entire museum, make crafts, and play games while learning about our special planet.
This monthly series provides a welcoming and accessible environment for individuals, families, and children who have sensory sensitivities. Experience our Minnesota Journeys gallery, temporary exhibits, the Touch & See Lab, and a planetarium show at 5:30 pm—all with lowered lighting, quieter sounds, and fewer visitors. Anyone who can benefit from this environment is welcome to attend this program.
Any member of the public who can benefit from this environment is welcome to attend this event.
This event is part of our annual weekend-long astronomy celebration, Space Fest 2026: Love Letter to Earth.
This is an in-person event at the Bell Museum and is included in the cost of regular admission.
