Join Martha of Buried Diamond for a 3-day Guest Teaching Artist workshop on heirloom sewing techniques. Learn how to create tucks, lace insertions, and handmade trims, and how to apply them to wearable contemporary garments. Begin with swatch-making and material exploration and move into learning how to apply these techniques to any commercial pattern. Leave class with swatches, fresh ideas, and a completed (or nearly completed) garment. Open to confident beginners (and above) who have successfully sewn a garment using a sewing machine and commercial pattern.
