"Ring of Fire" Returns to Plymouth Playhouse!

Ring of Fire makes it's return to Plymouth Playhouse after a triumphant national tour! Running July 18-November 23, 2014. Full of love and emotion, humor and empathy, Ring of Fire: The Life and Music of Johnny Cash pays tribute to the legendary Man in Black with dance, comedy, stories, tragedy and love.

3M Championship

July 28th to 3rd

The 2014 3M Championships will be held at Tournament Player's Club in Blaine, Minnesota!  Scheduled appearances include Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Lee Trevino, Jonny Miller, and Dave Stockton, along with legends Nancy Lopex and Annika Sorenstam.  Nick Price, Tom Lehman and rookie Miguel Angel Jimenez are scheduled to compete in the 3M Championship as well!  Genreal admission will be free for spectators!  3M Championship tournament will donate $1.3 million to Allina Health to further beenfit healthcare programs!  Come get starstruck while hleping support Allina Health, at the 3M Championship tournament this summer!

Cured + Crafted - A Prosciutto di Parma Tasting & Craft Beer Pairing

The Consorzio del Prosciutto di Parma is pairing Minneapolis’ top chefs with the city’s finest craft brewers for a night of pigging out on Prosciutto di Parma and awesome beer. On Thursday, July 31st, stroll through the Muse Event Center, where seven local chefs will each serve a bespoke dish, created just for the event, featuring Prosciutto di Parma and paired with a carefully chosen craft beer.

Minnesota Fringe Festival

July 31st to 10th

Minnesota Fringe Festival is one of the oldest and largest fringe festivals in the county. This annual performing arts festival features nearly 170 performances over the course of 11 days. 

Mark Summer and Tierney Sutton

Grammy award winning cellist Mark Summer and six-time Grammy nominee vocalist Tierney Sutton will perform an evening of chamber jazz celebrating the music of Joni Mitchell.They will be joined by Parisian guitarist Serge Merlaud, performing selections from Tierney’s Grammy nominated release “AfterBlue” as well as jazz standards from the Great American Songbook, and Mark’s celebrated solo cello repetoire. Don't miss an evening of serentation by this amazing cellist!

Macy's Glamorama is a fashion to raise money for the Children's Cancer Research Fund. The show is August 1 at 8:00pm at the State Theater downtown Minneapolis. Performers include Jason Derulo and designers include Diesel, INC, Weekend MaxMara, Calvin Klein and Hello Kitty.

Uptown Art Fair

The Uptown Art Fair features professional works of art including sculptures, paintings, ceramics, jewelry, mixed media, and more. There will be festival food and beverages from over 20 vendors and non-stop entertainment including live music.

New Space

August 1st to 1st

Sound Verite and City Pages present New Space featuring Greg Grease, Shiro Dame, Allan Kingdom, Tiny Deaths, Manny Phesto, Ander Other (Doomtree), DJ Just Nine, Voice of Culture Drum & Dance, and more! Friday, August 1st at 7:00pm. Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door.
