SAINT PAUL, Minn. - To celebrate Becoming: An Intimate Conversation with Michelle Obama coming to Saint Paul on March 13, Xcel Energy Center and Live Nation are hosting a Book Drive in honor of Mrs. Obama's commitment to education. Donations will be given to Saint Paul Public Schools, including Barack and Michelle Obama Elementary School, for use in libraries and classrooms and as giveaways to students to supplement home reading materials.

The public will have the opportunity to donate new and gently used books beginning Wednesday, March 13 at 10 a.m. until the start of the show at 8 p.m. Donations can be dropped off at the main entrance to Xcel Energy Center (Gate 1 off of Kellogg Blvd.). Xcel Energy Center staff will also be hosting their own internal donation drive beginning today.

Donations will be set up backstage so that Mrs. Obama can see the impact she is making here locally in the community.
