All of those exquisite culinary elements come together in executive chef Everton Clarke’s special Valentine’s Day Menu at Cedar + Stone, Urban Table, the Bloomington restaurant at the JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America hotel. Among the menu items being created for Cedar + Stone guests on this February 14:
- Oyster Chowder with tempered oyster, sun-choke lardon, house-made oyster biscuit and parsley salad.
- Roasted Beef Tenderloin and Alaskan King Crag Leg Fondue, with celery root puree, white asparagus, brussel sprouts, and young carrot tender-cress.
- Red Velvet Molten Lava Cake created by pastry chef Jessica Quiet for Valentine’s Day with a weaved sugar basket filled with a towering JW house spun cotton candy, heart-shaped raspberry macaroons and mascarpone ice cream.
Among the other Valentine’s Day surprises: a toast of Tattinger Champagne ‘Brut la Francaise’ for an additional $20 and the chef’s complimentary mignardises: house-made chocolate kisses.
