US Bank Stadium Set To Host A Lot More Than Football
Can’t make a Vikings game this year? There are plenty of opportunities to get inside the stadium in the coming months
With the Vikings only occupying the stadium for 10 days throughout the year, Minnesota’s new marquee venue will play host to numerous other events. From sporting events to craft shows and music to monster trucks, there will be plenty of opportunities for the public get inside U.S. Bank stadium.
Minnesota State High School League Soccer and Football Tournaments
U.S. Bank Stadium is excited to host the best high school soccer and football players in the state. In the coming decades, the iconic stadium will house championship celebrations for thousands of high school athletes and their fans.
MSHSL girls and boys soccer championships will take place October 31, November 1, and November 3. High school football will be in the stadium November 17, 18 and 19 with the Prep Bowl taking place November 25 and 26.
Holiday Craft Show
Also taking place in November is the Holiday Craft Show. A great opportunity to appreciate the magnificent stadium, and do some holiday shopping. U.S. Bank Stadium will host the show November 10-13.
Monster Jam
The sights and sounds of monster trucks will fill U.S. Bank Stadium on December 10. Making a comeback to the Twin Cities, Monster Jam provides unique and energizing action for both consistent and intruiged fan bases. This event is a great opportunity to see both the architectual marvel of the stadium as well as the motarized mayhem of moster trucks.
United States Women’s Soccer Team Friendly Match
Following the Olympics, the United States Women’s National Team will make a stop at U.S. Bank Stadium on their tour of friendly matches. Already proving a great place for soccer following the AC Milan and Chelsea ICC match, both the fans and the teams will be looking forward to this game at the new stadium. The game is scheduled for October 23, with tickets going on sale on September 12.
2017 and 2018 Summer X Games
Announced last month, the 2017 and 2018 Summer X Games will come to U.S. Bank Stadium. The extreme sports include skateboarding, BMX, and motocross. A majority of X Games events will be held in the stadium.
