WHAT: Steve Simeone and Zainab Johnson will take the Mystic Comedy Club stage at 7 and 9:30 p.m. Friday, July 1, and Saturday, July 2, at Mystic Lake. Steve Simeone went from performing at some of Hollywood’s most prestigious comedy clubs to his Comedy Central debut on Gabriel Iglesias’ Stand Up Revolution. In 2014, he represented Honda’s Summer “Cheerance” campaign and topped the Billboard and iTunes charts with his first album Remember This. Simeone recently shot a pilot for TruTV and will return on Ari Shaffir’s This Is Not Happening. Reliving childhood memories, high school mishaps and simple “good times” are all heard on his hilarious podcast Good Times with Steve Simeone.

As a finalist on Last Comic Standing, Zainab Johnson proved she’s a leading contender for America’s funniest comedian. After discovering her comedic talents while pursuing an acting career, Johnson made her first appearance as a series regular on BET’s Hell Date. She has performed in top clubs throughout the country including The Improv, Laugh Factory, Standup NY, and Caroline’s on Broadway. Johnson has also brought her comedy to ComicView and The Arsenio Hall Show.
