MINNESOTA WILD TO HONOR HUMBOLDT BRONCOS THROUGHOUT THE 2018 STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The National Hockey League's (NHL) Minnesota Wild today announced a variety of initiatives in support of the Humboldt Broncos and the Humboldt Community throughout the Wild's run in the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Wild mourns the 16 players, coaches and team staff that were lost as a result of the junior hockey team's bus crash in Saskatchewan April 6.
The Wild wore Humboldt Broncos stickers on its helmets in Game 1 yesterday and will continue to do so for the rest of its First Round series against the Winnipeg Jets in the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
During the Wild's Game 2 viewing party at Xcel Energy Center tomorrow, April 13, fans will have the opportunity to sign a large "#HumboldtStrong" banner. Fans can also take part in a large group photo with the banner that will be shown on the game's television broadcasts. Gates 1 and 2 of Xcel Energy Center will open at 6 p.m. CT before the 6:30 p.m. game in Winnipeg.
The Wild also announced a variety of fundraising initiatives for the Humboldt community from now until the end of the Wild's run in the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs:
The Wild encourages fans to visit wild.com/Humboldt and donate to the NHL Foundation's crash victims' fund
The Minnesota Wild Foundation will donate a portion of the proceeds from its Split-the-Pot raffle during Game 3 of the Minnesota Wild-Winnipeg Jets series on Sunday, April 15 - the first Wild home game of the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs - to the victims' fund
Wild fans can make a donation or add a donation to their purchases at all Minnesota Wild Hockey Lodge locations from now until the end of the Wild's 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs run
In partnership with Levy Restaurants, fans can also add a monetary donation to any Xcel Energy Center food or beverage purchase during the Game 2 viewing party and every Wild home game during the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs
Ticket availability for all 2018 Stanley Cup Playoff games at Xcel Energy Center is extremely limited due to demand and priority access given to Members of the Minnesota Wild Season Ticket Community. Fans are encouraged to join the GameDay Tickets text notification list at wild.com/gamedaytix, designed to help fans get last-minute tickets to Wild home games that have limited availability.
