MINNEAPOLIS, MN - On September 22, 2016 eight photography graduates from the Art Institutes International Minnesota invite you to experience the photographic exhibition Exposure. The exhibition examines the graduates’ photographic journey of visual storytelling which accentuates beauty, captures charming moments and deconstructs ideas to introduce new interpretation. Come view their portfolios, and join us in celebration at the LaSalle Art Gallery in Downtown Minneapolis on Thursday evening from 4:00-6:00pm.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Lisa Christianson is a portrait artist creating photographic memories in a painterly style. Her photographs capture charming moments and transforms them into family heirlooms.

Chelsea Edwards is a Minneapolis based photographer. By deconstructing an idea and putting it back together she creates conceptual portraits that speak to the human condition. She also works with mixed media to create physical composites.

Courtney Lowe is a Minnesota based photographer that specializes in capturing jewelry in a creative way with meticulous techniques. Through careful lighting and thoughtful styling, she captures the finest details and creates a new visual approach.

Matthew McIntosh designs his photographs to visually tell stories infusing assorted photographic techniques with image manipulation. The illustrative nature of his work is surrounded by humor and challenges interpretation.

Bri Moses is a Minneapolis based photographer that highlights the intricate details that can be found in nature. She approaches her subjects with a classic sense of composition and the use of pattern, light, and form. In doing so, she accentuates the beauty and importance of the surrounding environment.
