HOMES BY ARCHITECTS TOUR

Featuring 16 New & Remodeled Homes

September 17 & 18

Minneapolis (July 8, 2016) --- The 9th annual AIA Minnesota’s Home By Architects Tour will be held Saturday, Sept. 17 and Sunday, Sept.18, 2016 This self-guided tour showcases 16 new and remodeled residences located throughout the Twin Cities and outlying areas, all designed by registered architect members of the American Institute of Architects Minnesota (AIA MN).

The Tour showcases the talents of local architects and how the diverse and collaborative visions of homeowners and architects can play out in home design. The Tour features a range of project sizes, styles, techniques, budget scopes and neighborhoods.

At each home along the tour, visitors can meet the designing architect and team, ask questions and learn their process firsthand. Plus, they’ll get a close-up look at how an architect can transform ordinary living spaces into personalized, relevant, beautiful environments by responding creatively to each homeowner's needs.

Tours are held from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day. Advance tickets may be purchased online beginning in August at HomesByArchitects.org or at AIA Minnesota for $15 (until noon on Friday, Sept. 16). They will also be available at each home on the tour during the weekend for $20 for a full ticket or $10 for an individual home.
