Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal: Twin Cities event industry starts feeling effects of coronavirus

Early spring isn’t exactly high season for events in the Twin Cities, but that doesn’t mean the spread of coronavirus isn’t already hurting the local hospitality industry.
This year’s headliner event in the Twin Cities, the NCAA Wrestling Championships at U.S. Bank Stadium, will be held but without any fans in attendance, the NCAA announced Wednesday. With five COVID-19 cases confirmed in Minnesota as of Wednesday, other events have been called off completely.
