Walk around downtown and you'll notice some friendly men and women in neon green ready to give you directions, give suggestions or just say hi. These are DID Ambassadors, part of the Minneapolis Downtown Improvement District: a non-profit entity that maintains a higher standard of care and behavior throughout downtown.
Minneapolis is proud to be part of the Sister City Program, started by President Dwight Eisenhower to foster people-to-people citizen diplomacy. We partner with nine other cities spanning the entire world over. Continue on for more information on the program and participating cities.
