Minnesota-based champions of NBC's 'The Sing Off' coming to Mill City Nights

Minnesota-Based All-Male a Capella Group Wins Competitive Fourth Season
UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. Dec. 23, 2013 Home Free were declared the season four winners Monday night of NBCs a capella musical competition series The Sing-Off.
The all-male country group of Minnesota natives Chris Rupp, Tim Foust, Austin Brown, Rob Lunquist and Adam Rupp are a tight-knit bunch that have gotten even closer by performing in concerts across the country.
Home Free recently signed a deal with Columbia Records. Their debut album will be called Crazy Life and available digitally Jan. 14 and elsewhere Feb. 18. The album can pre-ordered starting Dec. 24 at http://smarturl.it/homefree.
Crazy Life features a collection of original music as well as a selection of cover songs the group performed on the show, including, Ring of Fire (Johnny Cash) and a Hunter Hayes medley featuring I Want Crazy from Mondays finale. Home Free will join a handful of finalists for The Sing-Off Live Tour! that kicks off a 32-night run on Feb. 19 in Verona, N.Y.
Heading into the finale, The Sing-Off is averaging a 1.8 rating in adults 18-49 and 6.2 million viewers overall, for a gain versus the prior cycle of 13% in 18-49 (1.8 vs. 1.6) and 39% in total viewers (6.2 million vs. 4.5 million), according to live plus same day data from Nielsen Media Research. In its various time slots, The Sing-Off has improved NBCs time-period performance versus one year ago by an average of 20% in 18-49 rating (1.8 vs. 1.5) and 18% in total viewers (6.2 million vs. 5.3 million).
Judges for The Sing-Off are Jewel, Ben Folds and Shawn Stockman. Nick Lachey serves as host.
The Sing-Off is produced by One Three Media (a Hearst/Mark Burnett company) along with Outlaw Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television.
Mark Burnett (NBCs The Voice) is the executive producer. Deb Newmyer, Sam Weisman and Jane Mun are also executive producers.
