#33 Betty Danger's Country Club
#33 of 52 Must See Things in Minneapolis.
A Country Club for the rest of us! Fully styled with argyle, plaid, golf accessories and equestrian-themed décor, Betty Danger’s Country Club is a country-club themed restaurant without the stuffy feel. They offer a full menu and bar, with specialties like tacos, quesadillas and enchiladas, and a variety of flavorful margaritas. They call their taste “Mexamption,” a combination of Minnesota, Mexico and The Hamptons. They also offer wine, beer and nonalcoholic options with special deals during Tea Time (AKA Happy Hour!). While their evening menu is sure to impress, their brunch is truly a gem. Eggs, pastries, tortillas filled with various delicacies, and bottomless pink mimosas will certainly do the trick.
What makes Betty Danger's an iconic Minneapolis restaurant is the giant Ferris wheel you might notice when heading to the front door! The Ferris wheel, or what they call their Mechanical Tree, is a 20-minute adventure that allows you to take in different views of Northeast while savoring a cocktail or enjoying a few tacos. In the colder months, cozy up with one of their fleece blankets and something warm to sip on. The Ferris Wheel is open year-round, so you can’t go to Betty Danger’s and not experience their “vertically revolving patio.”
It wouldn’t be a Country Club without some golf. Try mini-golf Betty Danger’s style at their Ferris Wheeler’s Day Off Golf Course, complete (or almost…) with 8 ½ holes. Grab a drink, get your golf clubs, and prove your status at Betty Danger’s Country Club.
