Guitar virtuoso Stanley Jordan’s career took flight in 1985 with commercial and critical acclaim. Since then, he has consistently displayed a chameleonic musical persona of openness, imagination, versatility and maverick daring. Here, he displays bold reinventions of classical masterpieces or soulful explorations through pop-rock hits. Guitarist Mimi Fox presents a new project, honoring the 100th anniversary of Wes Montgomery’s birth. Here, she features her original pieces and well-crafted arrangements of Montgomery’s famous compositions. Fox has worked with organ masters Joey DeFrancesco and Barbara Dennerlein, and she imbues the iconic B3 sound in her show.
