Malevo
Malevo, created by director, choreographer, and dancer Matías Jaime, is a thrilling all-male dance group that specializes in Malambo—an Argentine dance of great virility and dexterity—and seeks to take it beyond its limits, merging it with other dance styles such as Flamenco. Set to a pulsing rhythm of live, onstage drumming, the dancers of Malevo combine beauty, fluidity, strength, and sheer bravado into an extraordinary visual and sensory experience.
Named an official Cultural Ambassador to the National Identity of Argentina, Malevo has electrified audiences around the world with their stunning take on this historic art form. They have performed with Latin pop star Ricky Martin, Cirque du Soleil, enjoyed a year-long residency at Universal Studios Japan, and were semi-finalists on Season 11 of the hit TV show America’s Got Talent.
